How does the app work out my paycheck?
From the shifts you log, your hourly rate, your state's overtime rules, any differentials, your clock-rounding setting and the card tips paid through payroll. It shows gross pay before taxes, with the math for every line.
My expected paycheck doesn't match. What should I check?
First check the pay period: open the job and confirm "This check covers" and how many days after the period ends you get paid. Then check clock rounding, unpaid breaks and whether your card tips are paid through payroll. If it's still off, Paycheck Check shows which line is different.
What's free, and what's in Premium?
Free forever: unlimited shifts, your state's overtime math, the shift calendar, the time clock, tips logging, your expected paycheck, CSV export, with iCloud backup coming in an update. No caps, no ads, no account. Premium adds Paycheck Check, more than one job, differentials, tips analytics, rotations, the PDF proof report and mileage.
How do I cancel my trial or subscription?
In the app: Jobs → the gear button → Manage subscription. Or on your iPhone: Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions. Cancel before day 14 of a free trial and you won't be charged.
I already paid. How do I get Premium on a new phone?
Sign in with the same Apple ID and tap Restore purchase in Settings. We never charge twice.
Is this legal or tax advice?
No. Honest Paycheck helps you keep an accurate record of your hours and pay. For a pay dispute, your state labor department or an employment lawyer can advise you.
